Me, myself, and I…

I love music. It’s the air I breathe. I like a lot of different music styles. As you can probably seen from my last.fm charts, eclecticity is my game ;)

I’m an admirer of art, literature, design & fashion. I love to be inspired, to feel inspired. Apart from my obsession with the things I love, I also enjoy re/blogging stuff that inspires me. I’m an eternal dreamer. Deeply thoughtful, unique, individual. Imaginary. Visionary. Addicted to the internet. Lives on caffeine (tea/coffee/cola). Sometimes, I wonder, and.. drift off into a daydream.

I tend to procrastinate. A lot.

I adore & embrace different cultures. Love to look at the world through different perspectives. Open minded & soft hearted. Pacifist. Introspective. Introverted.

Loyal. Devoted. Committed. There’s nothing that I love without a reason. For me, everything that I like is reflected in my personality and shapes the person that I am. I learn from things I see and lives on the vision of my future I strives to achieve.

For me, life is a story waiting to be discovered and forever to be continued.

I love watching sports. It inspires me. It gives me strength in my own life and belief in myself. I’m obsessed with the beautiful games: FOOTBALL& TENNIS.

I live & breathe FC Barcelona and Arsenal. I also support Spain National Football Team. I adore & support them with all my heart. There is too much emotion that I experience when they are involved. Each and every day of my life seems to be defined, dominated and shaped by my teams. This unbreakable bond that exist… no matter what happens or has happened, past, present and future, the love that I have.. I will carry it with me to the end of my days. Win or lose, that will never change. They have became part of who I am.

 Football is an art form, a religion, a way of life. There’s no describing the way it can electrify you, inspire you, mesmerize you. How it can lift you up when you’re down. The team spirit. The trials and tribulations. The beauty that is this sport. 

Sport is what gives me strength in times of need and I will never forget that. It inspires. When you see athletes giving their all for their team, through pain, sorrow, in the face of adversity, in front of a mountain of pressure. A crucial moment. Needing to succeed. The bittersweet taste of victory. Through trials and triumphs. What they do on the pitch inspires me to get stronger personally, mentally. When I feel ready to give up, I remind myself of the courage and spirit shown by athletes. Convince myself to change for the better and not back down. That’s how important sports is to me. It’s the fuel of my courage, in facing things I always try to hide away from.

Yes, as someone famously said, it’s not just life and death. It’s much more important than that.

I believe in loyalty above all & mutual respect between all teams & all fans. I’ve always believed in this philosophy and I won’t ever engage in any drama. Yes, I have strong feelings about the things surrounding my teams but there will never be any needless fuel of hatred from me. I will stick to my principles of respect where it’s due, no matter what team you support, or who you like. Peace :)

(footnote: I do spend a lot of time on sports websites and blogs reading opinions and discussions and I’ve also became very much fascinated and engaged by tactics and football management. I suppose playing FIFA has also helped me a lot in that respect :P)

My love for tennis is very significant to me as well, as you can probably see from my favourite athletes list.

In general, I love quirky, original, unique things. And classic rock music and styles from the past bygone eras are personal favourites. My preference for modern music are heavily tilted toward non-top 40 artists. I think the music of today simply cannot compare with the level of genius of the yesteryears. It was more organic, pure and not tainted with pure commercialism (and auto-tune!!! T_T) before, but now… I don’t know where we’re headed…

…but I do have a few guilty pleasures now and then ;)
